Beethoven

During a walk Beethoven said enthusiastically:

“I often sit here for hours, and my senses are silent when I see the receiving and bearing children of nature.

Here the majestic sun does not shroud a dirty roof made by man, the blue sky is my sublime roof.

When I observe the night sky with amazement, and the masses of lights, called suns or planets, eternally swinging in their borders, then my mind soars up beyond these heavenly bodies which are so far away, to the primary source, from which all creations flow, and from which new creations will eternally flow.

Yes, it must come from above, that, which should touch the heart; otherwise you only have notes, body without a mind.

What is a body without a mind? Dirt or soil, isn’t it?

The mind shall rise from the earth, in which God’s sparks have been captivated for a certain time, and similar to the field, to which the farmer entrusts his delicious seed, it shall blossom and carry many crops, and, multiplied, strive up towards the source, from which it came.

For only through persistent work, using the powers given to us, will the creature honour the Creator and preserver of infinite nature.”
